SPRING
During the spring natural environments need a helping hand in order to provide the best conditions for the landscaped environment.
Plant beds are ready to have their protective fall leaf debris removed and may need to be topped up with mulch, bedding soil or aggregate.
Lawns need to be power raked and may also need to be aerated, especially in high traffic areas to ensure a healthy growing environment. Damaged areas due to pests or vehicles may also need to be repaired or replaced.
This is also a great time to assess if plantings have suffered from disease or winter damage and if they need to be replaced.
Spring is also the best time to prune back any damaged braches from your trees and shrubs.
Planting during the spring provides the most ideal conditions as the trees, shrubs and perennials are beginning to come out of the dormant state.
Spring fertilizing may need to be done depending on soil and plant conditions.
Hardscaped areas of your property may also need attention after the long winter months.
Spring is the ideal time to remove the winter accumulation of sand and gravel from the parking and surface areas of your property.
High water volume can occur during spring run-off which can result in damage to asphalt and concrete surfaces.

Landscaped elements of your property also need a hand to prepare for winter
Professional maintenance is very important during this critical time of the year as each tree, shrub and plant needs individualized care in order to successfully make it through the winter.
Fall is aptly named because of the large amount of leaf debris that “falls” to the ground during this season. Much of this leaf debris can be removed but this is also nature’s way of insulating the ground in order to protect plants from the winter conditions.
Plants need to be pruned and insulted carefully depending on the specific type of plant
If your property has irrigation, the lines need to be blown out to eliminate the potential for expensive damage

- Leaf debris removal
- Irrigation line blow out
